Welcome Our New Associate Attorney Allison L. Byrd, Esq.
We are pleased to announce the recent hire of Allison L. Byrd. With more than 20 years as a practicing attorney in Georgia, Allison’s areas of concentration include estate planning, probate law, and alternative dispute resolution.

Allison is a Board Member of the Atlanta Bar Association’s Estate Planning & Probate Section and a Contributing Editor of its official newsletter, The Mortmain. She is also a member of the Elder Law and Dispute Resolution Sections of the Atlanta Bar Association, the Fiduciary Law, Elder Law, and Dispute Resolution Sections of the State Bar of Georgia, the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers, and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
Allison holds bar memberships in the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Georgia Supreme Court, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States. She is also registered with the Georgia Supreme Court Commission on Dispute Resolution as a neutral in the areas of Arbitration, General Civil Mediation, and Domestic Relations Mediation.
Allison holds a J.D. degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law, where she received a Roy Webster Scholarship. As a member of the International Law Society, she participated with distinction in the Philip P. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, earning an American Jurisprudence Award. While a student, she also assisted licensed attorneys in the protection and representation of victims of domestic abuse through the SisterCare Pro Bono program.
